We offer walks around the island greatest walks. Morning walk through the river and canal banks to get the feel the life and learn more about the tradition and culture experiencing a new way of traditional breakfast from another village home. Covering half of the island (13km) about 2.5km of the island would be on a local ferry. Evening walk is a totally different experience through the paddy fields learn the way of traditional methods of farming and harvesting and watching the sunset and returning home on a canoe watching stars enjoying the folk songs of local paddlers and also having an opportunity to taste the “Toddy” local drink from shop with the local people. Leaves 4.00pm arrives back home at 07.30(timing may vary depends on sunset time)
Our cycling experiences on Indian cycles take the smaller canal bank route enabling you to experience the villager’s life. Enjoy the sunset and visit the temple which was used as a training centre for militants by the Travancore Kingdom
You can rent your own canoe, or local people can paddle you through the canals while singing folk songs. You can also sample the local “Toddy” drink with the local people.
